Mission

The Oblates of St. Francis de Sales established Nativity Preparatory School in September of 2003. This Catholic middle school serves low-income boys of all faiths in grades five through eight.  Students demonstrating superior discipline and work ethic attend Nativity Prep tuition-free except for an annual $200 activities fee.  At Nativity each grade is limited to 10-15 students.

Staffed by Oblates,  professional and experienced faculty and administration, as well as AmeriCorps volunteer teachers, Nativity seeks to promote the intellectual, spiritual, athletic, and social development of its students.   The goal for each graduate is to earn a scholarship to a private or independent area secondary school.

Please continue exploring the web site to learn more about Nativity Prep and volunteer opportunities that can help shape the future of Nativity students.

Nativity Preparatory School of Wilmington is truly a place
