National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony

May 26, 2022

On Wednesday, May 25th, Nativity Prep inducted the following students into National Junior Honor Society: Jeffrey Delgado-Serrano, Nahjee Williams, Jaeden Davis, Zayden Camille-Murray, Pablo Mezquita-Medina, Roan Samuels, and Jason Trujillo-Carbajal. National Junior Honor Society or NJHS is an international organization that recognizes those students who excel in service, leadership, character, and citizenship all while excelling to the highest level of excellence in the classroom. Being recognized by NJHS is a huge accomplishment, one that represents how tirelessly these students have worked in and out of the classroom.

These 5 inductees have worked hard to serve others and to have a strong impact here at Nativity. They have demonstrated a drive to help those around them and those in need, as they have continuously given back to others.

Each of the inductees have served as leaders here at Nativity, in their communities, and through various daily activities. Each of them leads when others hesitate and are not afraid to make important efforts.

The next NJHS quality is character! Character distinguishes each person from others. It creates our individuality and our goodness. These students understand that character is developed through their individual thoughts and actions. They recognize the importance of the choices they make and the interactions they have with others.

Finally, these students recognize the importance of being valued citizens. They acknowledge the responsibilities they hold and that they must work together to better improve the lives of their fellow citizens.

These 5 students represent the Nativity motto, “be who you are and be that well”, as they have worked hard to excel in all aspects of life! We are so proud of how they have fostered their gifts and made a positive impact on their communities.

Congratulations, gentlemen!
